ABSTRACT

Non-rigid medical image registration is a popular subject in the research areas of the medical image and has an important clinical value. In this paper we put forward an improved algorithm of Demons, together with the conservation of gray model and local structure tensor conservation model, to construct a new energy function processing multi-modal registration problem. We then applied the L-BFGS algorithm to optimize the energy function and solve complex three-dimensional data optimization problem. And finally we used the multi-scale hierarchical refinement ideas to solve large deformation registration. The experimental results showed that the proposed algorithm for large de formation and multi-modal three-dimensional medical image registration had good effects.

ABSTRACT

Objective Skin disease is multiple, common disease, and there are so many therapeutic methods. In recent years, physical non-invasive therapy of skin disease has developed rapidly. On the basis of Pennes equation,a series of simulation analysis was completed, and the results confirmed the feasibility and availability as well as the definite safety of curing skin diseases by direct heating. In order to achieve the maximum efficacy and the minimum side effects simultaneously and based on the previous research, exploratory simulation experiment of non-isothermal heating was carried out. Methods The skin temperature fields with non-isothermal heating were simulated by utilizing mathematical tools (Matlab). Results Compared to the previous isothermal heating, during the non-isothermal heating, the temperature of inner skin displayed the rising trend, while it displayed the declining trend during the isothermal heating. Conclusion As compared to isothermal heating,non-isothermal heating has better restraining effect for the bacterium within the inner skin, and less side-effect.

ABSTRACT

Objective To identify the effect of glucose regulating protein 75 expression in PC12 cells under glucose deprivation. Methods MTT method was used to monitor the cell viability. The leakage of LDH was represented as the index of cell injury.Flow cytometry was applied for cell cycle analysis, apoptosis and necrosis.Using RT-PCR detected and quantified mRNA.Western blot to measure relative amounts of the protein. Results Cell viability decreased and the LDH leakage increased. While the treated PC12 cells had two main forms of apoptosis and necrosis.GRP75 mRNA and protein levels were upregulated. Conclusion GRP75 has protective function during glucose deprivation.
